Do I have to go?

Dad not looking forward to tomorrow's drive to Houston. We all went over for visits. Nina did dad's Heparin flush again. Here are some pics!

Step 1 - check to make sure proper amount is contained in the syringe.



Step 2 - purge the syringe of any air bubbles (while dad watches...he he)




Step 3 - after cleaning the port cap, bring the syringe in for connecting at a 45 degree angle (somebody looks grumpy here)..



Step 4 - administer the Heparin slowly counting to ten; 1, 2, 3....you get the idea.



Step 4 1/2 - Katie wonders when this thing is going to be done!



Step 5 - Dad's favorite part - disconnect the syringe



Step 6 - Pet the cat
